Analytic Techniques

 The following sections are a non-technical overview of various methods for analyzing data. Starting with the simplest techniques, and then working our way through increasingly sophisticated methods, we will point out the strengths and limitations of each. In this way, we hope that the non-expert will gain a better understanding of data mining.
